I’ve met some good people that live here and the staff are all friendly and amazing if I need any work, orders submitted or done they get done rather quickly so the maintenance man definitely is very nice as well. I’ve had a great experience living at Cadence Music Factory. The apartment homes and community spaces are beautifully designed with luxurious finishes that make the property feel modern and upscale. Every time I’ve submitted a service request, it’s been addressed and completed within 24 hours, often even sooner. The process is seamless, and the team is efficient and respectful. Visitor parking is an issue limited and can cost $225. Gate goes down at times and no one seems to want to fix the issue so now you are locked out of your own residence.

I love living here at Kaydence‘s music factory. I have been here since 2020 and I have thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Some of my favorite people are the maintenance people. They are so attentive and move quickly and excellent. I would recommend anybody who is looking for a luxury apartment in the uptown area to move here.

The building is clean and quiet. I enjoy the coffee in the morning while taking my dog for a walk. When I moved in my apartment was clean and freshly painted. The staff at the leasing office made the leasing process very simple.

Smooth move in experience, love my apartment and the neighborhood! Maintenance and office staff have been nothing short of professional and on top of everything! Only cons are the guest parking situation and if you drive an EV, the on site chargers are convenient but cost more than a supercharger :(

Mixed feelings. The property it’s great, staff amazing but people have parties until late hours at the pool, during weekends you can see weird people coming in and out of the building, no security or gate control. Marihuana smell in the hallways almost 24/7.

Management is very courteous and responsive to residents. Maintenance responds very quickly to work orders/ requests. The location in uptown is highly desirable! 20 minute walk to the Knight’s Stadium, 25 minute walk to Bank of America Stadium to see Charlotte FC or Panther’s, 27 minute walk to Spectrum Center to check out a Hornets game or other entertainment. Don’t let me forget, we are conveniently located in the Mecca of live entertainment in Charlotte, at the NC Music Factory- complete with an outdoor amphitheater, 2 indoor concert halls, a Comedy club, beer garden to name a few. I can’t wait to check out T-Pain next month at Skyla. 10 min walk to the venue, 25 dollar lawn seats with every seat great in the house! When you don’t have to pay to park, or a lengthy Uber ride, why not get out and explore! If you’d rather not walk though, Ubers are very affordable when the cities biggest entertainment areas are within 0-2 miles.

Living here at Cadence Music Factory is quite lovely. It's refreshing to live in a building where the staff works in excellence. I love the location also because I have a great view of uptown and also I'm really close to my job. The building is always kept clean and in pristine condition. I also love that if all the parcel boxes are full, the leasing office will hold our boxes so they won't get stolen. I also really love the events that we have here monthly, that's where we get to meet our new neighbors and the neighbors that have been here for a few years. It really builds a sense of community. I really enjoy living here.

Pros: Leasing office is full of good people & the complex is generally clean & well managed. Cons: People/their animals are loud as hell & the parking lot is a nightmare after 7pm. We don't need 50 compact car spots.

I've enjoyed my experience at Cadence overall. I have been in the community for nearly 7 years. It's very quiet for the most part other than the cargo train going by if you live on the Music Factory Blvd side. I didn't have the desire to use the pool too much in summer because it always seemed like there were large group takeovers/cookouts Saturday and Sunday. Units are pretty good for the location. I would tell someone to live here, but my time may be coming to an end. We'll see.

I’ve been a resident for almost 6 months. The staff are super friendly & always go above and beyond for the tenants. The staff does a great job with making sure the community is kept clean and safe. The monthly events are also appreciated and it’s clear that they are well planned and tailored to the residents’ interests. I love it here & would recommend to any of my friends.

I really like this apartment complex. It’s clean and feels safe. I wish it was located in a more central location that was safer to walk around in but that would be my only negative. Maintenance always responds quickly and the community events are fun as well.

Overall, my experience at Cadence has been great. I've lived here for almost 7 years. The noise is something you deal with being right next to 277 and the train if you're on that side of the building. Staff over the past 1-2 years especially has been awesome. I'd say just be more on residents to pick up after their dogs. Seeing the poop gets aggravating. If you're looking for a good deal on a place, like the Music Factory, access to Uptown/interstate, I'd highly consider living here.

Overall I have had a pretty good experience at Cadence over the past 6 1/2 years. It's a fairly good bang for your buck complex considering location and amenities. Management is the best it has ever been. They listen and help out with everything they can. It's not a perfect place to live, but I'd recommend to any friend where it would fit their needs. I'm not a fan of the road and train noise, but deal with it for the city view. I hope to be able to catch more community events at a convenient time soon as I stay too busy.

I’ve been here for about exactly a month and it has been the smoothest transition ever. The office staff is polite, knowledgeable, and understanding, and maintenance is very good at addressing the small details in work orders. The property is well kept in terms of cleanliness and the other tenants are extremely kind and friendly. I haven’t attended any of the events they’ve held, but I like that the staff goes above and beyond to cultivate relationships with us and create a sense of community throughout the complex. Overall, it’s been wonderful and I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family!

Overall, I don't have any real problems with living at Cadence. Staff and management do a great job. Amenities are accessible nearly at all times. Tenants are less problematic than when I moved in closer to late 2017. It's really tame here and safe in the area although I'd try to avoid walking around by yourself at night unless walking your dog, to the plaza across the street, to/from Music Factory, and maybe to Uptown depending on your personal preference. The noise/the train is nothing to be changed. My specific unit faces the city, which is worth it. As I write this, the train is going by. Sometimes it rattles the place, but I've also chosen to live in this unit for 3 1/2 years. I seem not be able to time it right to be here for the community events anymore (which stinks). I wish the poop would be cleaned up better and almost step in it every time I walk to my car. At end of the day, I would tell someone to live here if they were looking for a "more" affordable unit around Uptown.

Overall, my experience has been good over nearly 6 years of living at Cadence in 3 different units. I'd recommend most people to live in this community as it is taken care of better than it used to be and it's in a fantastically convenient location. If you do not like a lot of noise, I wouldn't recommend living on the side of the train and I-277, but a sacrifice for the city view 100%. It's a huge factor in why I may finally move on from apartment life. The train literally shakes my apartment to where there are cracks in areas of the wall. Current management and maintenance staff do a great job!

Overall, I've enjoyed my time at Cadence. One of the better locations and deals I could have on rent in the city. It's nice living next to Music Factory when I do visit, so I don't pay for parking for concerts. Management and staff has been better over the past year. Residents seem more respectful and professional over time too. Only draw backs for me would be the road and train noise plus shaking from the train. I'd also say the new apartment event coordinator is being creative with the events, but missing the touch the last few organizers had though. Parking has always been difficult here, but I've learned to live with it. Pool is always ice cold and generally clean too!

Overall, enjoyed living at Cadence over the last 6 years. Great location to access Uptown, Music Factory, the Interstate, and other areas of the city. Management has improved over the last 1-2 years. Area has changed a lot of the last several years, but still need a watchful eye if you're walking around outside the gate at night, but that's really anywhere in the city. Like the new coffee machine. Cleanliness has also improved. My only ask is to get better cameras in case someone hits a car or property in the parking lot.

I've enjoyed my time living at Cadence for the past 5 years. Love the location, my view of the city, huge balcony and apartment and relative value for what you get. The only paint points have been the amenities that seldonoy work (grills, printers, tvs, fire places, etc) Other than that I would certainly consider renting at Cadence for another 5 years as I have been overall satisfied with the support of the office staff and maintenance teams and the overall quality of living here

Chris made our apartment tour so fun, the energy and atmosphere of the whole place is amazing. Our application process was easy and straight forward and the move was great. I love my apartment and all of our amenities.

The current team has been very on top and in tune with the residents' needs. You cannot expect everything to be perfect, but they do a good job of listening to things that can be done differently by engaging in feedback surveys like this one. Engaging the community for giveaways via doing things for philanthropy and organizations in need is something I think would be beneficial vice versa. Still one of the better places to live for bang for your buck near Uptown, but I believe the only hangup still is to continue to get more creative with the parking situation. Reserved parking makes sense for those that can afford it, but some think it's silly. The back row of guest parking works for the most part, but there has to be another alternative as that fills up as well. Continue doing what you do, but find ways get residents involved, meeting each other, and doing things inside/around the community.

The apartments are nice and updated but the noise from the factory and train are very loud and obnoxious. Would have liked to know they run constantly, even through the night.

Great staff 🤙🏼 pretty calm / quiet living community for the most part. Only inconveniences have been the train noise, lack of light switches for common spaces, small parking spaces for big cars, and some amenities I’ve tried to use have been broken. (Printer / gym bike).

I’ve been here 7 months now (took over a sublease) and loved it so much, I just signed on for another year. The front office is always on point, maintenance is always super helpful, everything is literally amazing.

Nice apartment with a great view, great gym, pool amenities. Leasing process was simple and quick. Love the smart locks and trash pickup service. Package lockers are great.

As a resident that has been living on the property for 4 years I still get surprised sometimes when the train goes by at early hours honking but other than that I enjoy the location and amenities.

Overall, I believe things have shifted toward the better in the last 6 months. Seems to be more cleanliness, very responsive and helpful staff. After living here 4 and a half years, I can stay it's one of the best places to live in proximity to the city around bang for your buck. Pricing on a lease renewal would drive me to look elsewhere though. I think there could be improvements and fresh ideas brought in to engage the community further. I am looking forward to and hoping for a couple of pool events before the end of the summer. The parking situation is not great for guests and will be a big driver in what is next. Although the parking pass and designated guests spots likely work better for the staff headache. Out of the box ideas and differentiators from other/newer communities would maybe influence re-signing.

I’ve been living at Cadence Music Factory for about 3 months now and it’s been enjoyable for the most part. I love the views and amenities. It’s difficult to find a close park at night and can be a lot of outside noise daily but other than that I have been satisfied with my experience so far.

Only complaint is the inconvenience if you want to have guests. You can’t really plan to have anyone over ahead of time. They just have to hope there’s a spot. And you can only have one guest not family. Great community otherwise.

I've lived at Cadence for over 4 years. Overall, it's been a good experience. Excited for the pool season to come back around. I like that the SocialHub team is excited to put on events and they are happy to listen to what the residents want specifically. I think that will drive more people to come out to actually show up. I know there has been somewhat of a lack of attendance in the past. Please keep the community spotless clean and please pick up the poop. I have stepped in it more than once. Glad the gate closes all the way, but always broken in a way.

I have had the best experience so far - from before signing the lease to one month in a have no complaints about the property or staff. I’ve had no issues with people above me or around me noise wise. Valet trash is great. Security measures are amazing. Staff to residence is continuous and helpful. It’s always very nice and clean in the common areas. The train can get annoying, but it’s only so loud to me because I keep my windows open. When they are shut it’s fine. The view of the city is phenomenal. Shoutout to Chris in the office also for being amazing at his job!

Love all the amenities and the club room! Love my apartment and all the appliances. Only thing is the train noise, I'm used to it but it could be loud for those who haven't lived by a train. Also foodtruck Fridays and the popup shops are nice because there's not a lot in walking distance.

Overall, my experience has Cadence has been a good one especially since the most recent management changes. There seems to be a lot less strange things happening in or around the community. It's cool that they implemented the food truck days. Looking forward to more resident events going into the new year.

Maintenance guys and cleaning ladies try their best to keep the place clean but when the garbage man leaves stuff in the hallways or people don’t pick up after themselves it’s hard to keep your home nice.

I’ve lived at Cadence now for a year, and renewed my lease for another year. The big selling point for me is the proximity to uptown, the music factory, highway accessibility, and price point compared to other uptown apartment properties. I have never had any issues with maintenance, or had any issues that needed to be addressed. The apartments are very well insulated (I’ve never had the heat on here since I’ve lived here - low power bill in winter). There are cons to living here (as with anywhere): small parking places and a hassle to have visitors (have to worry about towing even if a friend just wants to drop by in the evening), and some other minor things. I feel like every place has their own “issues” though. I’ve never felt unsafe or had any issues with car being broken into. I always try to park outside my apartment where I can see it. Hopefully tent city doesn’t relocate to under the bridge next to us.

The unit is great and so is the leasing staff! I am very pleased to hear that EV charging stations are going in. On the flip side of that the Guest parking is a problem and the residents do not clean up after their pets. There is dog poop all over the grass.

My experience has been great so far. I enjoy my location being close to the highway and my apartment amenities. I would love additional visitor parking but do appreciate being able to find parking for myself with no issues on a daily basis.
